With the 6V6 you could also look for schematics designed for the EL48. With all due respect it doesn't make any sense to use a high mu tube like the 12AT7 or 12AX7 when you only need a voltage gain of about 25. There are many better sounding tubes to use.

a class A single ended amp needs a well filtered supply, but not necessarily a low impedance supply. AB stuff really needs low impedance for optimal performance, but it doesn't necessarily have to be wonderfully filtered at the output stage. I have watched what a lousy power supply looks like when trying to run full output power at 30hz.

Two 6V6 tubes per channel is 1 amp rating and four tubes per channel is 2 amp rating on the 150 volt winding. The 150 volts is rather high with 220uF I would use on the voltage doubler capacitors vs the 22uF shown that does require 150 volts. I would order 120 volts with 220uF voltage doubler capacitors. And, I recommend the 220uF capacitors.
